Here are just a few things that have happened with us since my last update!

Landon's birthday!
He got camping things, a yo-yo, a new shirt, Cowboy boots... and this little cutie below... ;)

Her name is Little Ann. She is a Bloodhound, and we love her. A lot. (:

My mom got re-married to a really nice guy. I am happy for her!

I got a new job, so now I only work at Jamba Juice on the occasional Saturday, and I work full time at Academy Mortgage. (Which I love). It is the best job in the world!

I was called to teach the Sunbeams in Primary. They are so little, yet they know so much about the gospel, and their sweet spirits make me want my own. (Not yet though, Ill tell you when) haha!

Landon and I received our Patriarchal blessings.. enough said. I am so grateful for the gospel and the blessings that it brings into our lives. What a sweet experience, and guideline.

Our sisters Erica and Carly are both pregnant! Erica will be having her 4th, and 2nd boy, and Carly doesn't know yet what she is having. We are very excited for the new additions (:

Alison is getting married! That is exciting news too. We are very excited for that. Also, that day will be our 6 month anniversary! (December 17) It will be a great day (:

Thats it! If I think of anything else, Ill let you know.

Just Another Update..

Landon and I are working hard every day to make ends meet in our family and to save as much as we possibly can. Sacrifices are beginning to seem more apparent in our lives, as we do everything we can to save our pennies. Someday, our sacrifices will pay off, and that is what makes sacrificing so much easier. We have amazing families who are more help than they will ever know, and we will never be able to repay them for the constant love that they give us.

As we progress, we are starting to recognize the Lord's hand in our lives in more ways than one. We can not wait to enter the temple soon.

Love, The Threets

These Quilts are Stunning!!

Luckily, they belong to the newest Threet Family (us) :D
They were made by my Great Aunt Debbi and Great Aunt Beverly, and any work of theirs is worth flaunting.
Thank you lovely ladies! I absolutely adore them!

To The Most Inspirational Woman You Will Ever Know :)

I am a day late..
Happy Birthday Grandma!
Although the years are growing, your hard work and motivation never ends.
You will always be my hero, my example, and my inspiration.
I hope to someday be as strong of a woman, wife, mother, leader, worker, and friend as you are.
I love you.

Threet Summer 2010!

Here is a summary of our summer!
Its been super fun/stressful/crazy/ironic/unpredictable one..
Enjoy!

My oldest brother, Tyler, his NEW beautiful wife, Coree, me, and the Landons! (My husband and Nephew) (:

Landon wrestling some friends that we had over for dinner in Pittsburgh! (He is SO strong!) Really, he wrestles anyone that will wrestle him. He loves it!

Landon playing the piano with sick baby Savannah :)/:(

This is what a beautiful rose looks like on our budget (: I love this leaf(flower) Landon picked for me anyways! :D

I was a little stressed from babysitting 6 kids all week, the ceiling in our living room falling in, job interviews, learning concepts from 2 new jobs, .. (the list goes on).. and you have no idea how much better this rose made my day! My husband always knows how.. (:

My brother's dog, Ruby, got her head stuck in the bucket of cheese balls (:

Two very handsome men! Landon, holding our nephew Landon.

Bigger Better Game..is Landon's new hobby! He started with a samsung rogue (a phone) and ended up with a droid after many switches, trades, etc! He is really good at it too! He is planning on starting to play it with his truck by posting it on craigslist and seeing if anyone will trade something of greater value for it, or seeing if he can buy something of greater value for money that he sells his truck for. It is really fun!

We also got to go to California with Landon's family at their timeshare! We had a blast and I am so grateful that we got to go.

Landon and I are both working right now, so we can put him through school as long as we possibly can without taking out any student loans. We might actually make it for awhile!

P.S....Landon is the BEST looking guy INSIDE AND OUT! There is no argument with that! I love you babe!

A Better Way

A Better Way
There is a better way, taught to us by the Savior Himself: “Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.”2
When we seek to serve others, we are motivated not by selfishness but by charity. This is the way Jesus Christ lived His life and the way a holder of the priesthood must live his. The Savior did not care for the honors of men; Satan offered Him all the kingdoms and glory of the world, and Jesus rejected the offer immediately and completely.3 Throughout His life, the Savior must have often felt tired and pressed upon, with scarcely a moment to Himself; yet He always made time for the sick, the sorrowful, and the overlooked.
In spite of this shining example, we too easily and too often get caught up in seeking the honors of men rather than serving the Lord with all our might, mind, and strength.
Brethren, when we stand before the Lord to be judged, will He look upon the positions we have held in the world or even in the Church? Do you suppose that titles we have had other than “husband,” “father,” or “priesthood holder” will mean much to Him? Do you think He will care how packed our schedule was or how many important meetings we attended? Do you suppose that our success in filling our days with appointments will serve as an excuse for failure to spend time with our wife and family?
The Lord judges so very differently from the way we do. He is pleased with the noble servant, not with the self-serving noble.
Those who are humble in this life will wear crowns of glory in the next. Jesus taught this doctrine Himself when He told the story of the rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and ate sumptuously every day, while the beggar Lazarus yearned merely to taste of the crumbs from the rich man’s table. In the next life, Lazarus appeared in glory next to Abraham, while the rich man was cast into hell, where he lifted up his eyes in torment.4

Well said, sir.

FINALLY

Our first official date of being married!...TONIGHT!

Its been a little rough having Landon come home so late every night (like..11:30 every night)
and leaving so early in the mornings, its been lonely!

So, I am beyond excited to be able to spend time with my man tonight and all day tomorrow (:
I have a new appreciation for sundays now (:  Not only do we have tomorrow to dedicate to our savior, but it is a day that I will be able to spend with my wonderful husband.

Applebees sounds amazing right now, thanks to the giftcard we got from our wedding!!

Post-Marriage

andd....

I LOVE IT! (and him of course)

I couldn't be happier with any other man!
He is perfect for me, and I can't imagine spending forever with anyone else.

(:

Anyways, Pittsburgh is better! We finally moved into our apartment, and it is much better than our smelly hotel room. Landon is working hard every day and I am very blessed to have a man who works so hard. We are looking forward to moving back to AZ in September and Landon getting the school needed to go to Chiropractic school finished! That will be a great day..

And for family who has not heard an update on my mom, she is doing good and the surgery went well. Hopefully all the pre-cancer cells in her thyroid are gone now, and the problem will be solved! She is home and would love company! (: I am sad that I can't be with her right now, but I know that she is well taken care of because of the supportive family that we have. Thanks!

Happy Days

We are now in Pittsburgh! Sadly, my first impression is that they got the 'pitts' in Pittsburgh right. I hate it! I can't wait to go home, but thankfully that is only 2 1/2 months away. Meanwhile, I will try to make the best of the experience at hand.

We Should All Do This Every Morning (:

Wonderful Memories (:

This past weekend I was able to spend some extra time with...
 My Beautiful Grandmother!
Landon is in Pennsylvania, and I knew that I wouldn't have the opportunity to have much one on one time with her after I was married, so we took a road trip to Clay Springs, Arizona and Joseph City, Arizona to clean my grandfather's grave for memorial day and to visit our sweet family.

Although I do not have the time to spend much time with my family up north, I was so grateful for the experience that I had while I realized why I love my family so much!
Lets just say, I have a lot to be grateful for (:

Reasons That I Love My Family:
1. They always show unconditional love (You would be amazed)
2. They are so christ-like, no matter the circumstance.
3. They are never judgemental
4. Their always refer to the lord, no matter what they are talking about
5. They are always quick to help without complaint
6. They are thee hardest workers you will ever meet
7. They are quick to help
8. They will never reject you as a friend, part of the family, and never fail to make you feel welcome always (:

I am so darn lucky to have this common theme run through the entire Jackson side of my wonderful family, and am so grateful for everything that they do for everyone around them, including me.

Around these people, I can feel the Lord's presence always. They are quick to teach but never judge, and their hospitality outruns that of any single person or family that I have every seen/met/even heard of.

Definitely a weekend to remember(:

MAYBE..

When someone responds with the word 'maybe'
it creates hope, which is then often shattered.

Shattered hope makes people feel unsuccessful and worthless..
like they can not reach accomplishment.

If they can not reach accomplishment..
they lose trust in the person who told them maybe.

As observed in my own family,
I have often been disappointed with the word 'maybe',
and will NEVER give my current or future family false hope.
That's final! (not a 'maybe').

Who Has The Best Fiance Ever???

That would be me!!! (:

So, Landon and I usually go one a date once a week.
(The day of the week differs)
Last night just happened to be our date night for this week...
Instead of going out to dinner like usual, we went grocery shopping at Safeway and bought our dinner and a delicious chocolate satin pie from Marie Calendars for dessert!
(BTW: Marie Calendar pies are incredible, just sayin)
To save money, we put a limit to the price of the meal we bought, which was 6 dollars for a drink and food. It was actually really fun!

When we got in the car to go home from Safeway, he opened my door, and there were a dozen white and red roses sitting there!
(How did he do this? I do not know..)
There must have been a third party involved here somewhere (:

So, I officially claim that MY fiance is the best one there ever was. (:

I love him!

Funny Little Memories

Since I have so many of them, I should probably write them down since I won't remember them forever!

1. When my dad was 5 years old, his dad asked him to put an old tire in the truck. He did exactly as he was told, but didn't quite understand the chore. So, he willingly put the tire into the FRONT SEAT of his dad's truck (:
2. We were in the car and my little siblings Karli, Austin and Jordan were being really rowdy, and my mom was getting frustrated. I turned around to scold them, and suddenly they got really quiet....... Austin then made the remark,  "Man, she told us...."
3. Karli (13 years old) was telling everyone on sight about how the "cutest boy in school" was going to ask her out. We all skeptically reminded her that she was only 13, when Austin said, "don't worry guys, no one will EVER ask her out" HA!
4. Jordan faked sick so that he could stay home when he was 5, and wanted to play when all the kids got home. My mom reminded him that he was too sick to do anything that day, and he responded "I didn't stay home from school, it was my imposter!"
5. Trevor calls his truck his girlfriend because he can't get a girlfriend, and loves his truck!
6. While driving to far away games during my senior year volleyball season, Heather Leavitt and I would look out the window and bark at people walking on the street. Yes, we were annoying. (:
7. Ayrica Molina thinks uses the word, "amn't" as in..am not. Pretty hilarious(:
8. I was telling one of my family members that I was going to take a shower..but I mixed up the first letters of the words and it came out, "I'm going to shake a tower!"

That's all I can remember for now, Ill add more as I remember them!

A Cure For My Lack Of Journaling

Well, my journal isn't being filled as quickly as it should be,
so maybe I'll enjoy this enough to look forward to journaling!
After all, something is better than nothing, right?
I need to get in the habit of this now, I KNOW I will appreciate it later in life!

Here it goes!
